Knowing the amount of energy that is generated provides great benefits, since it allows us to discover the dose of energy that can be saved for later use. With our app for your mobile phone, you can monitor live the energy that is being consumed in the home and all that remains to be spent.

Batteries

Although with the two previous tips the self-consumption of solar energy will clearly improve, the use of batteries can also help. These transfer energy in the short term. With the use of batteries, you can store the energy that is not being used at the moment and then make use of it. By using batteries, more than 70% of the energy generated by the plates can be stored during the day.

Cleaning and maintenance of the plates

A final important element for optimizing the self-consumption of solar panels is their good maintenance and cleaning. The maintenance can be carried out by the owner of the plates himself, so the cost of keeping them clean is low. However, it is recommended that professionals in the sector assist in cleaning to treat the plates with the utmost delicacy and knowledge. This maintenance should be done about three or four times a year, depending on the area where the plates are located.
